North Korea has fired multiple ballistic missiles off its east coast, according to South Korea's military. The launches occurred amid heightened tensions following border landmine explosions last month that injured three South Korean soldiers. South Korea reported the missiles were launched from Pyongyang and has increased its surveillance capabilities. Japan also confirmed that at least one suspected ballistic missile was detected. This action escalates regional military activity and raises concerns about stability.
