Omar Abdullah Criticises Delhi Internet Curbs, Calls It 'Kashmir Model Export'

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has criticised the suspension of internet services in parts of Delhi, likening it to the 'Kashmir model'. He stated that this approach has now been exported to the national capital. The internet curbs are in place ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar by CJP seeking accountability over electoral roll revisions. Security has been significantly heightened with thousands of police and paramilitary personnel deployed.

जम्मू और कश्मीर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने दिल्ली के कुछ हिस्सों में इंटरनेट सेवाओं के निलंबन की आलोचना की है और इसकी तुलना 'कश्मीर मॉडल' से की है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरीके को अब राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में निर्यात किया गया है। जंतर मंतर पर सीजेपी द्वारा चुनावी रोल संशोधन पर जवाबदेही मांगने के लिए एक नियोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले इंटरनेट पर प्रतिबंध लागू हैं। हजारों पुलिस और अर्धसैनिक बलों के जवानों की तैनाती के साथ सुरक्षा काफी बढ़ा दी गई है।
