Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan confirmed meeting a businessman suspected of wearing camera-enabled smart glasses for a sting operation. He stated he received photographs of the meeting and questioned why the glasses were worn only during meetings with him and Karnataka CM D.K. Shivakumar, but not with BJP leaders. The Karnataka Police are already investigating the matter, following a similar suspicion raised by Mr. Shivakumar. The businessman had reportedly shifted discussions to politics and electoral strategies during his meeting with Mr. Shivakumar.

केरलम के मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीशण ने एक ऐसे व्यापारी से मिलने की पुष्टि की है जिस पर स्टिंग ऑपरेशन के लिए कैमरा लगे स्मार्ट चश्मे पहनने का शक है। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें मुलाकात की तस्वीरें मिली हैं और सवाल किया कि चश्मे सिर्फ उनके और कर्नाटक के सीएम डी.के. शिवकुमार के साथ हुई मुलाकातों के दौरान ही क्यों पहने गए, न कि बीजेपी नेताओं के साथ। कर्नाटक पुलिस पहले से ही इस मामले की जांच कर रही है, क्योंकि शिवकुमार ने भी इसी तरह का शक जताया था। रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक, व्यापारी ने शिवकुमार के साथ अपनी मुलाकात के दौरान चर्चाओं को राजनीति और चुनावी रणनीतियों की ओर मोड़ दिया था।
