Rajnath Singh Warns Against 'Double Standards' on Terrorism at SCO Meet

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered a stern message against terrorism at the SCO meeting in Dushanbe, with Pakistan's deputy PM present. He stated that terrorism is a major threat to peace and development, causing loss of lives and disrupting investment and commerce. Singh emphasized that terrorism cannot be justified and called for a united approach against those who enable it, urging the dismantling of the entire terrorist ecosystem. He also highlighted India's proactive approach to combating terrorism, noting a significant reduction in the 'shelf life' of terrorists in recent years.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने दुशांबे में एससीओ बैठक में आतंकवाद के खिलाफ कड़ा संदेश दिया, जिसमें पाकिस्तान की उप प्रधानमंत्री भी मौजूद थीं। उन्होंने कहा कि आतंकवाद शांति और विकास के लिए एक बड़ा खतरा है, जिससे जान-माल का नुकसान होता है और निवेश व वाणिज्य बाधित होता है। सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा कि आतंकवाद को उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता और इसे सक्षम करने वालों के खिलाफ एकजुट दृष्टिकोण अपनाने का आह्वान किया, साथ ही पूरे आतंकवादी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को नष्ट करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने आतंकवाद से निपटने के लिए भारत के सक्रिय दृष्टिकोण को भी उजागर किया, जिसमें हाल के वर्षों में आतंकवादियों की 'शेल्फ लाइफ' में उल्लेखनीय कमी आई है।
