This projection raises concerns about muted retail demand during the holiday season due to higher household costs and rising inflation pressuring consumer spending. Despite this, Amazon Web Services saw revenue rise 39% to $46 billion in the third quarter, its fastest growth in nearly five years. The company maintained its annual capital spending forecast of about $220 billion.
