Veteran BJP Leader L.K. Advani Hospitalised With Chest Infection; Condition Stable

Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani, 98, was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Friday evening, October 16, 2026, after complaining of a chest infection. The hospital confirmed on Saturday that he is in the ICU under close medical observation and his condition is stable. Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited the hospital on Saturday morning to inquire about Mr. Advani's health and stated that the senior leader's condition is stable. Mr. Advani is currently undergoing treatment for the infection.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वयोवृद्ध नेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी, 98, को सीने में संक्रमण की शिकायत के बाद शुक्रवार शाम 16 अक्टूबर 2026 को अपोलो अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। अस्पताल ने शनिवार को पुष्टि की कि वह गहन चिकित्सा इकाई (ICU) में हैं और उनकी हालत स्थिर है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जे.पी. नड्डा ने शनिवार सुबह अस्पताल जाकर श्री आडवाणी के स्वास्थ्य के बारे में जानकारी ली और कहा कि वरिष्ठ नेता की हालत स्थिर है। श्री आडवाणी वर्तमान में संक्रमण का इलाज करा रहे हैं।
