An Australian homeowner's dispute over invasive bamboo has concluded with a court ordering its staged removal and a payment of A$6,253.50 for treatment and repairs. The Land and Environment Court of New South Wales found that bamboo from a neighbouring property had spread beneath the boundary fence, previously blocked a sewer line, and posed a future risk. While not all claims were accepted, the court found sufficient evidence of actual and likely damage.
