A case under the NDPS Act was registered against a clinic owner after Tramadol tablets were seized. Inspections revealed discrepancies between physical stock and ledgers, leading to the seizure of records and medications. This enforcement drive is part of the state government's 'Yudh Nasheyan Virudh' campaign to prevent pharmacies from supplying controlled substances.

पटियाला के ड्रग कंट्रोल विभाग और पुलिस ने चार दिनों तक चले अवैध नशीली दवाओं के खिलाफ अभियान के दौरान 16 जांचे गए मेडिकल स्टोर, थोक फर्मों और क्लीनिकों में से 11 में उल्लंघन का खुलासा किया है। ट्रामाडोल टैबलेट जब्त होने के बाद एक क्लिनिक मालिक के खिलाफ NDPS एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया। निरीक्षणों में भौतिक स्टॉक और बहीखातों के बीच विसंगतियां पाई गईं, जिससे रिकॉर्ड और दवाओं को जब्त कर लिया गया। यह प्रवर्तन अभियान राज्य सरकार के 'युद्ध नशे के विरुद्ध' अभियान का हिस्सा है ताकि फार्मेसियों को नियंत्रित पदार्थों की आपूर्ति से रोका जा सके।
