TV9 Hindi · environment

Delhi's air quality has worsened with the onset of winter, reaching an AQI of 310 and 420 in Jahangirpuri. Dense fog has enveloped areas like India Gate. In response, the Delhi government has implemented restrictions under the Winter Action Plan 2026, including a ban on older vehicles registered outside Delhi that do not meet BS-4 standards. Construction activities are also restricted, and 50% of government employees are advised to work from home. Strict checks are underway at Delhi's borders to enforce these measures.
