Top Uttar Pradesh officials, including the additional chief secretary (home) and director general of police, visited the family of three men murdered in Lucknow over a neighbourhood dispute. They assured the victims' family of adequate security, a speedy trial in a fast-track court, and stringent punishment for the accused. A reward of ₹25,000 each has been declared for information leading to the arrest of two absconding suspects. The visit followed local outrage and allegations of ignored prior complaints against the neighbours involved in the dispute over parking and land use.

लखनऊ में पड़ोस के झगड़े में तीन लोगों की हत्या के बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के शीर्ष अधिकारी, जिनमें एडिशनल चीफ सेक्रेटरी (होम) और डायरेक्टर जनरल ऑफ पुलिस शामिल हैं, पीड़ित परिवार से मिलने पहुंचे। उन्होंने पीड़ित परिवार को पर्याप्त सुरक्षा, फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट में त्वरित सुनवाई और आरोपियों को कड़ी सजा का आश्वासन दिया। पार्किंग और जमीन के इस्तेमाल को लेकर झगड़े में शामिल पड़ोसियों के खिलाफ पहले की गई शिकायतों को नजरअंदाज करने के आरोपों और स्थानीय गुस्से के बाद यह दौरा हुआ। फरार चल रहे दो संदिग्धों की गिरफ्तारी की सूचना देने वाले को ₹25,000 का इनाम भी घोषित किया गया है।
