Minister Chhagan Bhujbal Discharged in Land Scam Case

A special court in Mumbai has discharged state minister Chhagan Bhujbal and three others in the 2015 Kalina land scam case. The court found no evidence that Bhujbal, then PWD minister, instructed subordinates to manipulate project calculations or alter tender rules to favour a private developer. This case involved allegations of a Rs 79.2 crore loss to the state government.

मुंबई की एक स्पेशल कोर्ट ने 2015 के कालिना जमीन घोटाले में मंत्री छगन भुजबल और तीन अन्य को बरी कर दिया है। कोर्ट को कोई सबूत नहीं मिला कि भुजबल ने अपने मातहतों को किसी प्राइवेट डेवलपर को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए प्रोजेक्ट की गणना में हेरफेर करने या टेंडर नियमों को बदलने का निर्देश दिया हो। इस मामले में राज्य सरकार को 79.2 करोड़ रुपये के नुकसान का आरोप था।
