A 2013-batch IAS officer, Divya Mittal, has resigned from her post to enter politics in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to become an "unheard voice of the people." Mittal, who has a background from IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, plans to focus on issues like education, corruption, and employment. Her decision highlights a recurring trend of bureaucrats transitioning into politics, though success is not guaranteed. Another retired bureaucrat, Nageshar Rao, also recently entered politics to lead a new party.

2013 बैच की आईएएस अधिकारी दिव्या मित्तल ने राजनीति में कदम रखने के लिए अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। वह उत्तर प्रदेश की राजनीति में सक्रिय होना चाहती हैं और लोगों की अनसुनी आवाज़ बनना चाहती हैं। आईआईटी दिल्ली और आईआईएम बैंगलोर से पढ़ीं मित्तल शिक्षा, भ्रष्टाचार और रोज़गार जैसे मुद्दों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की योजना बना रही हैं। नौकरशाहों का राजनीति में आना कोई नई बात नहीं है, लेकिन इसमें सफलता की गारंटी नहीं है। हाल ही में एक और रिटायर्ड नौकरशाह नागेश्वर राव ने भी एक नई पार्टी का नेतृत्व करने के लिए राजनीति में प्रवेश किया था।
