Tanker Overturns on Lucknow's Kisan Path, Spilling Formalin and Causing Health Scare

A tanker carrying formalin overturned on Lucknow's Kisan Path in Bakshi Ka Talab on Monday evening after a tyre burst. The incident caused the chemical to spill, releasing strong fumes that led to eye irritation and breathing difficulties for nearby residents. Authorities sealed off the road and deployed SDRF, fire services, and medical teams to manage the situation. The hazardous fumes were reportedly felt up to a kilometre away, prompting officials to urge people to avoid the area. Containment and neutralization efforts continued through the night.

सोमवार शाम को बख्शी का तालाब के पास लखनऊ के किसान पथ पर एक टैंकर का टायर फटने से वह पलट गया। इस घटना में केमिकल फैल गया, जिससे तेज धुएं के कारण आसपास के निवासियों को आंखों में जलन और सांस लेने में दिक्कत हुई। अधिकारियों ने सड़क को सील कर दिया और स्थिति को संभालने के लिए SDRF, अग्निशमन सेवाओं और चिकित्सा टीमों को तैनात किया। खतरनाक धुआं लगभग एक किलोमीटर दूर तक महसूस होने की सूचना मिली, जिसके बाद अधिकारियों ने लोगों से उस इलाके से दूर रहने का आग्रह किया। रात भर रोकथाम और निष्प्रभावीकरण के प्रयास जारी रहे।
