US Visa Processing Delays Persist Despite Court Orders

US visa processing for Diversity Visa and immigrant visa applicants from 75 countries remains stalled despite federal court rulings striking down the pauses. Immigration lawyer Jennifer Bade stated that while the State Department acknowledged the orders, actual processing has not resumed for most applicants. Families with scheduled interviews are finding them canceled without explanation or new dates, with the government citing rescheduling rather than cancellation.
