India has cautioned China that maintaining peace and tranquillity along the border is crucial for bilateral ties, echoing Prime Minister Modi's message to President Xi Jinping. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that Chinese forces diverging from established patrolling patterns periodically disturb the border. This comes after ITBP Director General Shatrujeet Kapur confirmed ongoing face-offs between Indian and Chinese troops in Arunachal Pradesh. Kapur also highlighted the need for enhanced drone and anti-drone capabilities to counter China's modernized People's Liberation Army.
