Karnataka Minister Questions Why HDK Didn't Act on NICE Road Issue as CM

Karnataka Minister KM Shivalingegowda has questioned why former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy did not take action on alleged irregularities in the NICE Road project during his tenures. Shivalingegowda stated that the project, initiated during HD Deve Gowda's chief ministership, has significantly benefited Bengaluru. He argued that if violations occurred, action should have been taken when Kumaraswamy was CM in 2006 and 2018. The minister suggested the current allegations are politically motivated to weaken Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.

कर्नाटक के मंत्री केएम शिवलिंगेगौड़ा ने सवाल उठाया है कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान NICE रोड प्रोजेक्ट में कथित अनियमितताओं पर कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं की। शिवलिंगेगौड़ा ने कहा कि एचडी देवेगौड़ा के मुख्यमंत्री रहते शुरू हुई इस परियोजना से बेंगलुरु को काफी फायदा हुआ है। उन्होंने तर्क दिया कि यदि उल्लंघन हुए थे, तो कार्रवाई तब की जानी चाहिए थी जब कुमारस्वामी 2006 और 2018 में सीएम थे। मंत्री ने सुझाव दिया कि वर्तमान आरोप उपमुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार को कमजोर करने के लिए राजनीतिक रूप से प्रेरित हैं।
