Montreal Canadiens Foundation Invests $54.4 Million, Reaches 4 Million Children

Established in 2000, the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation has significantly expanded its mission over 25 years. By November 2025, it had invested $54.4 million in programs and donations, supporting over 1,000 organizations. The foundation's focus shifted in 2008 to promoting physical activity among disadvantaged children, leading to its flagship Bleu Blanc Bouge program. This initiative has built 15 outdoor refrigerated rinks across Quebec, valued at $24 million, and provided equipment for numerous children. The foundation estimates it has reached more than 4 million vulnerable children through its initiatives.
