BRICS Summit Focuses on MSME Development

The 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi adopted the New Delhi Declaration, prioritizing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and their integration into global value chains. India, as chair, convened the inaugural BRICS SME Forum in Agra, releasing a report on advancing MSME competitiveness. The declaration acknowledged finance as a key bottleneck and welcomed the Jaipur Consensus to study an Invoice Discounting Mechanism for BRICS members.

नई दिल्ली में हुई 18वीं BRICS समिट में नई दिल्ली घोषणापत्र अपनाया गया। इसमें छोटे और मध्यम उद्योगों (MSMEs) को बढ़ावा देने और उन्हें वैश्विक सप्लाई चेन से जोड़ने पर ज़ोर दिया गया। भारत की अध्यक्षता में आगरा में पहला BRICS SME फोरम हुआ, जहाँ MSMEs की क्षमता बढ़ाने पर एक रिपोर्ट जारी की गई। घोषणापत्र में वित्त को एक बड़ी बाधा माना गया और BRICS देशों के लिए इनवॉइस डिस्काउंटिंग मैकेनिज्म पर अध्ययन के लिए जयपुर कंसेंसस का स्वागत किया गया।
