Sarasamma, a 63-year-old woman from Mysuru, secured the first prize in a state-level rangoli competition held on the Mysuru Palace premises. The event, part of the Women and Children's Dasara celebrations, saw over 265 women from various districts showcasing traditional rangoli designs inspired by Navadurga. The competition aimed to celebrate Navaratri through artistic expression, with designs attracting significant attention from visitors and tourists. Savithri and Mala secured the second and third prizes respectively.

मैसूर की 63 वर्षीय सरस्वतीम्मा ने मैसूर पैलेस परिसर में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय रंगोली प्रतियोगिता में पहला पुरस्कार जीता। यह आयोजन महिला एवं बाल दशहरा उत्सव का हिस्सा था, जिसमें विभिन्न जिलों की 265 से अधिक महिलाओं ने नवदुर्गा से प्रेरित पारंपरिक रंगोली डिजाइन प्रस्तुत कीं। प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य नवरात्रि को कलात्मक अभिव्यक्ति के माध्यम से मनाना था, और डिजाइनों ने आगंतुकों और पर्यटकों का काफी ध्यान आकर्षित किया। सावित्री और माला ने क्रमशः दूसरा और तीसरा पुरस्कार जीता।
