Food delivery platform Zomato has introduced a new 'Host Mode' feature designed to enhance group ordering comfort. This feature allows hosts to hide menu prices from guests, enabling them to order freely without worrying about the cost. Guests can browse and add items to the cart without seeing prices, while the host can review the final bill and authenticate the order using security measures like passcodes or biometrics. Zomato stated the feature addresses social hesitations during shared meals and is particularly relevant during the festive season for gatherings.
