Despite fluctuations in global crude oil prices due to Middle East geopolitical tensions, domestic retail fuel costs have been stable. Prices vary by city due to local taxes and freight charges. In Delhi, petrol costs ₹102.12 and diesel ₹95.20 per litre. Mumbai sees petrol at ₹111.21 and diesel at ₹97.83. These prices are revised daily by public-sector oil companies based on international benchmarks and exchange rates.
