SFI Activist Alleges Assault by Colleagues, Threatened with Siddharthan's Fate

SFI Wayanad district joint secretary Sayanth has accused district secretary Adarsh and central committee member Sandra Ravindran of assaulting him with a microphone stand and steel rod on October 12. Sayanth alleges he was threatened with a fate similar to that of student J S Siddharthan, who died following alleged ragging and assault. He claims he lost faith in the organisation's promise of action after a dispute over a joint college campaign. Sayanth has now gone public, citing concerns for his safety and studies.

एसएफआई के वायनाड जिला संयुक्त सचिव सायंत ने जिला सचिव आदर्श और केंद्रीय समिति सदस्य सैंड्रा रविंद्रन पर 12 अक्टूबर को माइक्रोफोन स्टैंड और स्टील रॉड से हमला करने का आरोप लगाया है। सायंत का आरोप है कि उन्हें छात्र जे एस सिद्धांतन जैसे हश्र की धमकी दी गई थी, जिनकी कथित रैगिंग और हमले के बाद मौत हो गई थी। उन्होंने दावा किया कि संयुक्त कॉलेज अभियान पर विवाद के बाद संगठन की कार्रवाई के वादे पर से उनका विश्वास उठ गया है। सायंत ने अब अपनी सुरक्षा और पढ़ाई को लेकर चिंता जताते हुए सार्वजनिक रूप से बात की है।
