ARAI Becomes India's First to Offer Full-Spectrum Vehicle Cybersecurity Services

The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has launched comprehensive automotive cybersecurity testing, research, and development services, becoming the first agency in India to offer these capabilities under one roof. This integrated facility aims to help manufacturers address growing cyber risks in connected vehicles and comply with standards like AIS-189 and AIS-190. ARAI's services include vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and development of security modules. The initiative seeks to reduce reliance on foreign assessments and bolster India's domestic automotive technology capabilities.

ऑटोमोटिव रिसर्च एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (ARAI) ने ऑटोमोटिव साइबर सुरक्षा टेस्टिंग, रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट सेवाएँ शुरू की हैं। यह भारत की पहली ऐसी एजेंसी है जो ये सब एक ही जगह पर उपलब्ध कराएगी। इस इंटीग्रेटेड सुविधा का मकसद निर्माताओं को कनेक्टेड वाहनों में बढ़ते साइबर जोखिमों से निपटने और AIS-189 और AIS-190 जैसे मानकों का पालन करने में मदद करना है। ARAI की सेवाओं में वल्नरेबिलिटी असेसमेंट, पेनिट्रेशन टेस्टिंग और सिक्योरिटी मॉड्यूल का डेवलपमेंट शामिल है। इस पहल से विदेशी असेसमेंट पर निर्भरता कम होगी और भारत की घरेलू ऑटोमोटिव टेक्नोलॉजी क्षमताओं को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
