Oklahoma's starting quarterback situation is in flux as they prepare to face No. 1 Texas. John Mateer, who has struggled with six turnovers in his last three games, including a poor performance against Georgia, is under scrutiny. Coach Brent Venables has indicated that backups Whitt Newbauer and Bowe Bentley have taken significant practice reps, though he has not confirmed who will start.
