Undertrial Jumps, Fractures Legs Fleeing Police

An undertrial accused of murder fractured both his legs after jumping from the first floor of the Udhagamandalam Mahila court. The 25-year-old, identified as Bharath, was attempting to escape police custody after his bail was cancelled. He had allegedly threatened the victim's family while out on bail. Bharath is currently admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Udhagamandalam for treatment.

उधगमंडलम महिला कोर्ट की पहली मंजिल से कूदने के बाद हत्या के आरोपी अंडरट्रायल भरत (25) की दोनों टांगें टूट गईं। उसकी जमानत रद्द होने के बाद वह पुलिस हिरासत से भागने की कोशिश कर रहा था। जमानत पर बाहर रहते हुए उसने कथित तौर पर पीड़ित के परिवार को धमकी दी थी। भरत का इलाज फिलहाल उधगमंडलम के सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल में चल रहा है।
