असम में बाढ़ से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 47 हो गई है। पिछले 24 घंटों में छह और लोगों की जान गई है। राज्य के 11 जिलों में 7.21 लाख से ज़्यादा लोग इस भयंकर बाढ़ से प्रभावित हैं। भारी बारिश के कारण आई इस तबाही ने कई लोगों को बेघर कर दिया है, जो मानसून के विनाशकारी असर को दिखाता है।
