Uttarakhand Madrasas To Observe Weekly Holiday On Sunday Instead Of Friday

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that recognized madrasas in the state will no longer observe their weekly holiday on Friday. Instead, these educational institutions will now have their holiday on Sunday. This decision comes after the government abolished its statutory madrasa board in July. All educational institutions run by six notified minority communities are now regulated by the Uttarakhand State Authority for Minority Education, established under the 2025 Uttarakhand Minority Education Act.

उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने घोषणा की है कि राज्य के मान्यता प्राप्त मदरसों में अब जुमे को साप्ताहिक छुट्टी नहीं होगी। इसके बजाय, इन शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में अब रविवार को छुट्टी रहेगी। यह फैसला सरकार द्वारा जुलाई में अपने वैधानिक मदरसा बोर्ड को समाप्त करने के बाद आया है। छह अधिसूचित अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों द्वारा चलाए जाने वाले सभी शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को अब 2025 उत्तराखंड अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षा अधिनियम के तहत स्थापित उत्तराखंड राज्य अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षा प्राधिकरण द्वारा विनियमित किया जाएगा।
