Punjab CM Defends Farmers, Hits Out At Centre

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has defended farmers ahead of the stubble burning season, stating he is against registering cases against them. He criticized the Centre for not considering the stubble generated from paddy contributions and suggested financial incentives for farmers. Mann also took a dig at Pakistan's Punjab CM, questioning if only Punjab's smoke causes pollution. He emphasized that farmers do not wish to burn stubble due to its direct impact on them.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने पराली जलाने के मौसम से पहले किसानों का बचाव किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि वे किसानों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज करने के पक्ष में नहीं हैं। मान ने केंद्र सरकार पर धान की पराली से होने वाले नुकसान पर विचार न करने का आरोप लगाया और किसानों के लिए आर्थिक मदद का सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने पाकिस्तान के पंजाब के सीएम पर भी तंज कसते हुए पूछा कि क्या सिर्फ पंजाब का धुआं ही प्रदूषण फैलाता है।
