Navy Chief Invites Skyroot To Develop Space Capabilities

Indian Navy chief Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan has urged private space technology start-up Skyroot Aerospace to collaborate on developing indigenous space capabilities. He invited the company to work in "mission mode" to identify defense-specific requirements and build world-class sovereign space assets. This partnership aims to bolster India's strategic autonomy in space over the next two to three decades. The collaboration signifies a growing synergy between the Indian defense sector and the burgeoning private space industry.
