Delhi To Get Warmer; South India Faces Heavy Rainfall Alert
Business Standard · india
Delhi is expected to experience mainly clear skies and rising temperatures this week, with maximums reaching 31-33 degrees Celsius and minimums between 17-19 degrees. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for southern India, including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Isolated heavy showers are also forecast for coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. This rainfall is attributed to the seasonal transition from the southwest to the northeast monsoon, which brings moisture from the Bay of Bengal.
