SEBI Fines Avadhut Sathe Academy ₹11.5 Cr, Orders ₹546 Cr Refund

SEBI has imposed a ₹11.5 crore penalty on Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy and its directors. Additionally, the academy and its founder, Avadhut Sathe, have been ordered to refund ₹546.17 crore to investors who paid for unregistered services. SEBI also mandated an interest payment of ₹67.87 crore and prohibited Sathe and his academy from trading in the stock market for two years. The academy was found to be providing stock trading tips and advice without the necessary registration, despite warnings.

सेबी ने अवधूत साठे ट्रेडिंग एकेडमी और उसके निदेशकों पर ₹11.5 करोड़ का जुर्माना लगाया है। इसके अलावा, एकेडमी और उसके संस्थापक अवधूत साठे को उन निवेशकों को ₹546.17 करोड़ वापस करने का आदेश दिया गया है जिन्होंने अपंजीकृत सेवाओं के लिए भुगतान किया था। सेबी ने ₹67.87 करोड़ के ब्याज का भुगतान करने का भी आदेश दिया और साठे और उनकी एकेडमी को दो साल के लिए शेयर बाजार में कारोबार करने से प्रतिबंधित कर दिया। एकेडमी को चेतावनी के बावजूद, आवश्यक पंजीकरण के बिना स्टॉक ट्रेडिंग टिप्स और सलाह प्रदान करते हुए पाया गया था।
