BCCI to Decide Ajit Agarkar's Future

The BCCI has authorised office-bearers to decide on the future of the men's senior selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar. Agarkar's contract as chairman ends next month, and his tenure may not be extended. If not extended, the BCCI will need to advertise the position and conduct interviews, a process that could take time. Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel is reportedly a strong contender to replace Agarkar if a new chairman is appointed.

बीसीसीआई ने अजीत अगरकर की अगुवाई वाली पुरुष सीनियर चयन समिति के भविष्य पर फैसला लेने का अधिकार पदाधिकारियों को दे दिया है। अगरकर का बतौर चेयरमैन कार्यकाल अगले महीने खत्म हो रहा है और इसे बढ़ाया नहीं जा सकता है। अगर ऐसा होता है, तो बीसीसीआई को नई नियुक्ति के लिए विज्ञापन देना होगा और इंटरव्यू कराने होंगे, जिसमें समय लग सकता है। पार्थिव पटेल को अगरकर की जगह एक मजबूत दावेदार माना जा रहा है।
