Jason Kelce Defends NFL Referees After Initially Criticizing Them

Times of India · sports

Retired Eagles center Jason Kelce initially criticized NFL referee Adrian Hill for his interaction with player Eric Wilson during a Vikings-Dolphins game. Kelce argued Wilson did not intentionally knock Hill down and that the official's reaction was unwarranted. However, Kelce later reversed his stance on his podcast, retracting his criticism and siding with the officials. This shift occurred amidst a broader controversy over NFL referee suspensions, including one for Jeff Seeman after an incident with Trey McBride. The NFL Referees Association has challenged the severity of the penalties.
