Ahead of the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, Kumily grama panchayat in Idukki district is establishing three designated parking grounds to manage the influx of pilgrims. This move aims to prevent the severe traffic gridlocks experienced in previous years due to a shortage of parking space. The panchayat president stated that roadside parking will be strictly prohibited, with vehicles required to use the designated areas after dropping off passengers.

सबरीमाला तीर्थयात्रा सीजन से पहले, इडुक्की जिले में कुमिली ग्राम पंचायत तीर्थयात्रियों की भीड़ को संभालने के लिए तीन निर्दिष्ट पार्किंग स्थल स्थापित कर रहा है। इस कदम का उद्देश्य पार्किंग की कमी के कारण पिछले वर्षों में अनुभव की गई गंभीर यातायात जाम को रोकना है। पंचायत अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि सड़क किनारे पार्किंग पर सख्ती से रोक लगाई जाएगी, और यात्रियों को उतारने के बाद वाहनों को निर्दिष्ट क्षेत्रों का उपयोग करना होगा।
