IIT Madras Research Park and Unicorn India Ventures have launched the Frontier Fund I, a Rs 1,000-crore fund aimed at supporting early-stage deep-tech startups. Group CEO Nat Malupillai highlighted that the fund provides patient capital, allowing founders to focus on innovation rather than the often difficult process of fundraising. This initiative seeks to alleviate the pressure on entrepreneurs, giving them more time and resources to develop their groundbreaking technologies. आई.आई.टी. मद्रास रिसर्च पार्क और यूनिकॉर्न इंडिया वेंचर्स ने फ्रंटियर फंड I लॉन्च किया है, जो ₹1,000 करोड़ का फंड है और इसका मकसद शुरुआती दौर के डीप-टेक स्टार्टअप्स को सपोर्ट करना है। ग्रुप सीईओ नट मल्लुपिल्लई ने बताया कि यह फंड धैर्यवान पूंजी प्रदान करता है, जिससे फाउंडर्स को फंड जुटाने की अक्सर मुश्किल प्रक्रिया के बजाय इनोवेशन पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने का मौका मिलता है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य उद्यमियों पर दबाव कम करना है, जिससे उन्हें अपनी अभूतपूर्व तकनीकों को विकसित करने के लिए अधिक समय और संसाधन मिल सकें।
