Mane, a childhood friend of Smriti Mandhana and former fiancé of the cricketer, stated that the court's decision sends a message against filing baseless cases for publicity. He also announced plans to initiate criminal proceedings against Muchhal. Mane claimed the dismissal was due to procedural deficiencies, emphasizing that no one is above the law.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने संगीतकार पलश मुच्छल द्वारा अभिनेता-निर्माता विज्ञाण माने के खिलाफ दायर मानहानि का मामला खारिज कर दिया है। स्मृति मंधाना के बचपन के दोस्त और क्रिकेटर के पूर्व मंगेतर माने ने कहा कि अदालत के फैसले से पब्लिसिटी के लिए निराधार मामले दायर करने वालों को एक संदेश जाता है। उन्होंने मुच्छल के खिलाफ आपराधिक कार्यवाही शुरू करने की भी घोषणा की। माने ने दावा किया कि यह खारिज प्रक्रियात्मक कमियों के कारण हुई, और इस बात पर जोर दिया कि कोई भी कानून से ऊपर नहीं है।
