BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao has dismissed allegations of wrongdoing during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. He stated that voter name deletions only occur after field-level verification by election officials, refuting claims made by the Congress and AIMIM. Mr. Rao clarified that filing Form 7, used for objections, does not automatically lead to deletion. He also asserted that no BJP Booth Level Agents submitted such forms, criticising the controversy as unwarranted while the process is under inquiry.
