A 45-year-old MSEDCL clerk, Rahul Sanas, has been arrested for allegedly strangulating his 36-year-old HIV-positive brother, Rohan Sanas, in their Panvel flat. The accused confessed to police, stating he was overwhelmed by the medical care required for his brother, who suffered from kidney failure and was bedridden. Rohan's deteriorating health had reportedly led to frequent quarrels with Rahul's wife, who left with their two children six months prior. Doctors confirmed strangulation, leading to a murder case being registered against Rahul.
