Uttarakhand BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt asserted that the state government took every necessary step in the Ankita Bhandari case, ensuring an impartial investigation and timely action. He stated that the Pushkar Dhami government treated the murder with seriousness, leading to the swift arrest of the accused within 24 hours. Bhatt highlighted the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), arrangements for prosecution, and financial support of Rs 25 lakh provided to Bhandari's family.

उत्तराखंड भाजपा प्रमुख महेंद्र भट्ट ने जोर देकर कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने अंकिता भंडारी मामले में हर जरूरी कदम उठाया, निष्पक्ष जांच और समय पर कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की। उन्होंने कहा कि पुष्कर धामी सरकार ने हत्या को गंभीरता से लिया, जिससे 24 घंटे के भीतर आरोपियों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी हुई। भट्ट ने एक स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम (SIT) के गठन, अभियोजन की व्यवस्था और भंडारी के परिवार को 25 लाख रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने पर प्रकाश डाला।
