BJP demands CBI probe into Gem Granites Veeramani sexual assault case

BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathy has urged the Tamil Nadu government to transfer the sexual assault case involving Gem Granites Veeramani to the CBI. He cited the recusal request of Deputy Commissioner Geethanjali from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as a reason for doubt. Thirupathy suggested that high-ranking police officials might have been involved in diluting the case. He stated that a CBI inquiry would be proper and fair given these circumstances.

बीजेपी प्रवक्ता नारायणन तिरुपति ने तमिलनाडु सरकार से जेम ग्रेनाइट्स वीरमणि से जुड़े यौन उत्पीड़न मामले को सीबीआई को सौंपने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम (SIT) से डिप्टी कमिश्नर गीतांजलि के हटने के अनुरोध को संदेह का कारण बताया। तिरुपति ने सुझाव दिया कि उच्च पदस्थ पुलिस अधिकारी मामले को कमजोर करने में शामिल हो सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इन परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए सीबीआई जांच उचित और निष्पक्ष होगी।
