Notified by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, these rules will take effect from January 1 next year. They establish a comprehensive regulatory framework covering aircraft registration, manufacturing, safety, maintenance, operations, and personnel licensing. The new provisions also detail responsibilities for aircraft owners, operators, and airlines, aiming to enhance safety and transparency in the sector. Airlines will now need to disclose fare break-ups and refund conditions to passengers.
