ITBP Chief Confirms Face-Off With Chinese Troops In Arunachal

ITBP Director General Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor has officially confirmed ongoing face-offs with Chinese PLA soldiers in several areas of Arunachal Pradesh since July. Chinese troops have pitched tents as close as six to seven kilometers from the Line of Actual Control in regions like Asaphila. This marks the first official acknowledgement of the escalating tensions on the northern border. The ITBP is modernizing its approach, incorporating drone warfare and specialized commando units to counter evolving threats.

ITBP के महानिदेशक शत्रुजीत सिंह कपूर ने आधिकारिक तौर पर पुष्टि की है कि जुलाई से अरुणाचल प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में चीनी PLA सैनिकों के साथ लगातार झड़पें हो रही हैं। चीनी सैनिक आसफिला जैसे इलाकों में वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (LAC) से महज छह से सात किलोमीटर दूर तक तंबू गाड़ चुके हैं। यह उत्तरी सीमा पर बढ़ते तनाव की पहली आधिकारिक स्वीकारोक्ति है। ITBP बदलती खतरों का मुकाबला करने के लिए ड्रोन युद्ध और विशेष कमांडो इकाइयों को शामिल करके अपने दृष्टिकोण को आधुनिक बना रहा है।
