Two Suspected Chandipura Virus Deaths Reported

Two more suspected Chandipura virus deaths have been reported in Gujarat's Panchmahal district within 24 hours, prompting the state government to enhance surveillance and accelerate laboratory testing. One of the deceased was a one-year-old child. Chandipura virus is a mosquito-borne illness that can cause severe neurological problems and is often fatal, especially in young children.

गुजरात के पंचमहल जिले में 24 घंटे के अंदर चमगादड़ वायरस से मौत के दो और मामले सामने आए हैं। इससे राज्य सरकार ने निगरानी बढ़ा दी है और लैब टेस्टिंग तेज कर दी है। मरने वालों में एक साल का बच्चा भी शामिल था। चमगादड़ वायरस मच्छरों से फैलता है और यह दिमाग से जुड़ी गंभीर समस्याएं पैदा कर सकता है। यह खासकर छोटे बच्चों के लिए जानलेवा साबित होता है।
