OnePlus Limits Price Hikes Amidst Rival Increases

Times of India · business

While the Indian smartphone market saw average price increases of 16% in the first half of 2026 due to rising memory costs and a weaker rupee, OnePlus limited its average price hike to 8%. The company's steepest single price increase was 12%, significantly lower than the industry's highest of 113%. This strategy has contributed to OnePlus's growth, with shipments rising 49% quarter-on-quarter in Q2 2026, even as the overall market is expected to decline. OnePlus managed this by securing components early and maintaining a broad product portfolio.
