Typhoon Dujuan forced the postponement of the Asian Games equestrian eventing competition's opening day in Tokyo. Heavy rain and strong winds made conditions unsafe for the dressage phase, impacting India's riders. The three-day program has been compressed into two days, with dressage and cross-country now scheduled for Tuesday and jumping for Wednesday. While other sports continued, the equestrian event faced the storm's brunt.

टायफून डुजुआन के कारण टोक्यो में एशियन गेम्स की घुड़सवारी प्रतियोगिता का पहला दिन स्थगित कर दिया गया। भारी बारिश और तेज हवाओं के चलते ड्रेसेज के लिए हालात असुरक्षित हो गए थे, जिससे भारतीय घुड़सवारों पर असर पड़ा। तीन दिन का कार्यक्रम अब दो दिन में सिमट गया है। ड्रेसेज और क्रॉस-कंट्री अब मंगलवार को होंगे, और जंपिंग बुधवार को। बाकी खेल जारी रहे, लेकिन घुड़सवारी को तूफान का सबसे ज्यादा सामना करना पड़ा।
