Allahabad HC Orders CBI Probe Into Woman's Disappearance

The Allahabad High Court has ordered the CBI to investigate the disappearance of a 42-year-old woman who has been missing. The Uttar Pradesh Police failed to trace her for over two years despite sustained efforts. The court noted that a habeas corpus petition was filed by the woman's husband. The state informed the court that despite intensive efforts, the woman, described as a person of unsound mind, had not been traced.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने 42 वर्षीय लापता महिला की गुमशुदगी की जांच CBI को सौंपने का आदेश दिया है। उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस दो साल से ज़्यादा समय से लगातार कोशिशों के बावजूद उसे ढूंढ नहीं पाई थी। कोर्ट ने कहा कि महिला के पति ने Habeas Corpus याचिका दायर की थी। राज्य ने कोर्ट को बताया कि गहन प्रयासों के बावजूद, मानसिक रूप से अस्वस्थ बताई गई महिला का पता नहीं चल पाया था।
