Builder Fined Rs 10 Lakh For Missing Amenities

Karnataka RERA has ordered a builder to pay Rs 10 lakh compensation to four homebuyers for failing to deliver promised amenities. The buyers purchased flats for Rs 2.08 crore each in Bangalore North, expecting facilities like a spa, gym, and park. Photographic evidence confirmed these amenities were not constructed. RERA ruled that showcasing these features in brochures and agreements without providing them constituted misrepresentation, even after sale deeds were signed.

बिल्डर पर सुविधाओं की कमी पर लगा 10 लाख का जुर्माना

कर्नाटक RERA ने एक बिल्डर को चार खरीदारों को 10 लाख रुपये का हर्जाना देने का आदेश दिया है। बिल्डर ने वादा की गई सुविधाएं, जैसे स्पा, जिम और पार्क, नहीं दीं। खरीदारों ने बेंगलुरु नॉर्थ में 2.08 करोड़ रुपये में फ्लैट खरीदे थे। तस्वीरों से पता चला कि ये सुविधाएं बनी ही नहीं थीं। RERA ने कहा कि बिक्री के बाद भी ब्रोशर में ये सुविधाएं दिखाना गलत है।
