The victim, 35-year-old Gayatri alias Ramita Devi, was allegedly beaten to death by her elder sister-in-law and others in Jabka village. The altercation began when the goat entered the elder sister-in-law's house and consumed rotis. This minor disagreement rapidly turned violent, resulting in Ramita Devi's death. The accused are currently absconding, and the police are investigating the matter. Ramita Devi was a mother of four children.
