Sonam Wangchuk's doctor has expressed suspicion over the Safdarjung Hospital's report stating potassium deficiency as the cause of his health issues. The doctor claims Wangchuk's condition is more complex than a simple deficiency. Wangchuk, an engineer and education reformist, has been on a hunger strike in Ladakh to protest industrialisation.
