Land once dominated by mafia kingpin Atiq Ahmed in Prayagraj's Chakia area is set to be redeveloped into a modern residential project called Padmalok. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform the groundbreaking ceremony. The project will construct 602 flats, each a 2BHK unit of 56.45 square meters, with an estimated cost of ₹27 lakh per flat. This initiative, costing approximately ₹150 crore, aims to provide housing for 602 families and symbolizes the government's commitment to using land freed from illegal occupation for public welfare.

कभी माफिया सरगना अतीक अहमद के कब्ज़े वाले प्रयागराज के चकिया इलाके की ज़मीन को अब पद्मलोक नाम के एक आधुनिक आवासीय प्रोजेक्ट में बदला जाएगा। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ इसका शिलान्यास करेंगे। इस प्रोजेक्ट में 602 फ्लैट बनाए जाएंगे, हर फ्लैट 56.45 वर्ग मीटर का 2BHK यूनिट होगा, जिसकी अनुमानित लागत ₹27 लाख प्रति फ्लैट होगी। लगभग ₹150 करोड़ की लागत वाली इस पहल का मकसद 602 परिवारों को घर देना है और यह अवैध कब्जे से मुक्त हुई ज़मीन को जन कल्याण के लिए इस्तेमाल करने की सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है।
